Who we are

Tara Hammett Online Limited, company 11521465, is the controller for the Life Transformer website and app. Registered office: 8 Bryngelli Park, Treboeth, Swansea, Wales, SA5 9BL. Contact support@tarahammett.com for privacy questions or rights requests.

Information used by the app

We use your name, email, optional phone number, account credentials in protected form, programme access dates and purchase references to provide your account. The app can also hold your goals, check-ins, coaching questions, messages, community contributions, lesson completion, daily intentions, steps, calorie targets/logs, measurements and progress photos. Some of this information can reveal health information. You choose what optional progress information to record.

Medical questionnaire

The medical readiness questionnaire collects additional health and safety information. Its separate medical privacy notice explains explicit health-data consent, restricted reviewer access and readiness decisions. Tara makes participation decisions; technical administrators do not make health assessments. Contact us if you want to withdraw health-data consent or discuss how this affects participation.

Why we use information

We use account, purchase and programme records to perform our contract and provide access, coaching and support. We use proportionate security and troubleshooting records for our legitimate interests in running a safe, reliable service, and retain records where required by law. Health information requires an additional legal condition: the medical questionnaire asks for explicit consent. Please contact us about the use or removal of optional health-related progress or coaching information. Marketing consent is separate from access to the app.

Coaching and community visibility

Tara and authorised support team members can access the programme and coaching information needed for their work. Sunday questions for Tara may be collated into a private Monday summary; Hot Seat answers may be collated for Thursday preparation, grouped by your participation preference. Private-only reflections are not for reading aloud. Community posts and replies are visible to other app members. Avoid posting information you do not want them to see. Joining an optional WhatsApp group makes your phone number visible to other group members.

Tara Support Assistant

Our automated assistant uses OpenAI to select approved answers for straightforward app navigation and technical questions. Recent messages and replies from the current support issue may be sent to OpenAI with our general answer catalogue and a record of the help already offered. This lets the assistant follow up without repeating troubleshooting steps. It asks for confirmation before marking an issue resolved. We do not attach account records, medical questionnaire answers, photos or staff notes. Recognised medical, personal-advice and sensitive questions are passed to the team locally, but automated checks cannot guarantee that all personal information in free-text messages is recognised.

You can use “Send to a person” or ask to speak to a person to send your new message directly to the support team without AI classification. Programme dates and medical-review status, when relevant, are checked inside the app, not sent as account records to OpenAI. The assistant cannot change payments, access or medical decisions. Medical and coaching handovers are directed to Tara through the support inbox.

We disable stored API responses. OpenAI’s standard security and abuse-monitoring retention may still apply, generally up to 30 days with exceptions described in its API data controls; this is not a zero-retention service. API data is not used for model training by default. Message text remains part of your private app conversation, while operational logs record routing and delivery status. Contact support@tarahammett.com for questions or requests about this processing.

Service providers

We use hosting and email infrastructure to operate the service, Bunny for video delivery, Stripe and/or ThriveCart for payments and purchase fulfilment, ActiveCampaign for relevant email communications, and Calendly where used for appointments. Payment providers process payment details under their own notices; the app does not store your full card number. Zoom, WhatsApp and Facebook may be used when you choose those coaching or community services. Each provider may process connection, device or account information when its service is used.

Optional analytics and advertising

The public sales pages offer separate Analytics and Meta advertising choices. Google Analytics can measure page visits and, with consent, link browser/session identifiers and campaign tags to a confirmed purchase, including transaction reference, amount and currency. Meta may receive browser/device information, IP address, advertising click identifiers, page address and confirmed purchase amount/currency. Our purchase integrations do not send your name, email, phone number, medical answers or coaching content to Google or Meta. Not every visit or purchase can be attributed.

Optional heatmaps and recordings

With your separate permission, we use Microsoft Clarity on the public 14-Day Plan sales page to understand clicks, scrolling and page interactions through heatmaps and session recordings. Microsoft processes page addresses, browser/device and connection information and pseudonymous session identifiers. Text is masked before collection. We do not install Clarity in the member app, health forms or checkout, and we do not send customer identities or payment records to Clarity. Its advertising storage is disabled. Rejecting this choice does not affect access or purchases. You can withdraw it in Cookie settings; recording stops and the page reloads. Previously collected data is not automatically erased by changing this setting. See Microsoft’s privacy statement.

Cookies and stored choices

Essential session and security storage supports sign-in, checkout and preferences. Optional Analytics, Meta and Clarity choices can be rejected without preventing a purchase. Use Cookie settings on the sales page to change your choices. Consent preferences are remembered for six months. Consented attribution references are retained for up to seven days in the app’s attribution store. Provider cookies and records have their own lifetimes. Embedded videos and other services receive the connection data needed to serve their content.

Transfers and security

Some providers operate outside the UK. Where a restricted transfer occurs, applicable safeguards or an approved adequacy arrangement are required; contact us for details of the arrangement relevant to your information. We restrict account access and use protected server storage. Medical questionnaire answers and selected member records are encrypted; this does not mean every operational record or email is encrypted end to end. No system can guarantee absolute security.

How long records are kept

We retain account and coaching records while needed to provide the programme, handle support, resolve disputes and meet legal requirements. Ending membership does not automatically erase your account or progress. Medical information has a separate retention review; the final period is being checked against legal and insurance needs. Other records are assessed by purpose, legal obligations and continuing need rather than an unlimited right to keep them. Ask us for the retention basis or deletion of a particular record. Backups and legally required records may take longer to remove.

Your rights and choices

You can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability where applicable, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Unsubscribe from marketing emails using their link; essential account and service messages are separate. We may need to verify your identity. Contact support@tarahammett.com. You can complain to the Information Commissioner at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/.
